A red Buoy, to be known as the Middle Ground Upper Buoy, has been moored in 13 feet of water on the southern edge of the shoal to the southward of Kwantao Village. From the Buoy, Rocky Head bears N. 61° W., distant 4.1 cables.
All bearings given are magnetic, and depths are those of low water of spring tides.
