No. 556. With reference to Government Notification No. 71 of the 2nd February, 1906, the KING'S Exequatur empowering Mr. J. EITZEN to be Conus for Norway at Hong- kong, has received His Majesty's signature.

No. 557. With reference to Government Notification No. 393 of the 10th May, 1906, the KING's Exequatur empowering Mr. AMOS PARKER WILDER to be Consul-General for the United States of America at Hongkong, has received His Majesty's signature.

No. 558.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under the pro- visions of Section 2 (1.) of the Marriage Ordinance, 1875, (Ordinance No. 7 of 1875), James Dyer BalL to be a Deputy Registrar of Marriages, with effect from the 22nd instant.

No. 562. Applications are invited for the póst of Telegraph Clerk in the Harbour Department.

Qualifications:--A competent knowledge of Morse Telegraphy, including instru-

ment and battery up-keep, etc.

Salary: $1,680 a year rising by triennial increments of $120 to $2,040. Applications in writing should be sent with testimonials to the Harbour Master on or before the 9th July.

Applications are invited from Portuguese.
