COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

It is hereby notified for general information that the name of Mr. LI TSE-FONG is substituted for that of Mr. DAVID WAI-KWOK AU on the Committee appointed to advise His Excellency the Governor regarding applications under the Companies Ordinance, 1932, for authority to act as Auditors in respect of Companies, other than China Companies, registered under the principal Ordinance, which keep their accounts in Chinese, as notified in G.N. No. 305 in the Gazette of the 30th April, 1937.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

It is hereby notified for general information that the Treaty of Commerce and Navigation concluded between the United Kingdom and Siam, signed at Bangkok on 23rd November, 1937, and ratifications of which were exchanged on the 19th day of February, 1938, has been extended to Hong Kong.

The new Treaty is substituted for the General Treaty and the Treaty of Commerce and Navigation signed at London on 14th July, 1925, and referred to in G.N. 522 published in the Gazette of 21st September, 1928, which, together with all arrangements and agreements subsidiary thereto, concluded or existing between the High Contracting Parties, ceased to be binding as from the 23rd day of November, 1937, on which date the new Treaty came into force.

A copy of the new Treaty can be seen on application at this office.
