THE MAGISTRACY.

No. 932.-By Command of His Excellency the Governor, and pursuant to Section 10 of the Liquors Ordinance of 1931, an Election by the Justices of the Peace of two Justices of the Peace to serve on the Licensing Board for three years, vice Mr. CYRIL CHAMPKIN, J.P., and Mr. Huga Blackwell Layard Dowbiggin, O.B.E., J.P., whose terms of office expire on the 9th day of December, 1938, will take place in the Council Chamber of the Urban Council on Wednesday, the 21st day of December, 1933, com- mencing at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

The election will be conducted in accordance with the Rules set forth in Government Notification No. 415 of Government Gazette No. 27 of 16th June, 1933.

Forms of nomination may be obtained at the Magistracy, Victoria, Hong Kong.

Every nomination must be delivered to the undersigned not less than six clear days before the day fixed for the election.

The only persons entitled to vote at the election are the unofficial Justices of the Peace.

Voting will commence at 4 p.m. aud continue until 6 p.m. when the ballot-box will be closed.
