ORDINANCE No. 1 of 1873.
(DANGEROUS GOODS).
By virtue and in exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Dangerous Goods Ordinance, 1873, the Governor in Council hereby makes the following amendments to the regulations made under the said Ordinance and appear- ing on pages 13-80 of the Regulations of Hong Kong, (1937 edition):
Amendments.
1. The regulations under the heading "Dangerous Goods in General" are amended by the addition of the following regulation as Regulation 13:--
13. Every licence to store carbide of calcium shall specify the quantity which may be stored at any one time and such quantity shall be in the absolute discretion of the Commissioner of Police.
2. Condition 10 of the conditions of licence prescribed for the storage of carbide of calcium is rescinded and the following is substituted therefor :-
10. The licensee shall not at any one time store a quantity of carbide of calcium greater than that specified on the licence.
