By His Excellency Sir GEOFFRY ALEXANDER Stafford NORTHCOTE. Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same.

WHEREAS it has been found necessary and expedient to provide at Victoria an additional Court-house where a magistrate may sit for the purposes hereinafter mentioned:

AND WHEREAS the Court situate on the second floor in the southern end of the building known as the Magistracy has been provided, to serve as such additional Court-house:

NOW THEREFORE I, the said Sir GEOFFRY ALEXANDER STAFFORD NORTHCOTE, do hereby appoint the place hereinafter mentioned (in addition to those places appointed as Court- houses by Proclamation given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony on the 1st day of May, 1937) as a Court- house where a Magistrate may sit to hear and try and determine and deal with complaints and informations and other matters to be heard and tried and determined and dealt with by him as a Magistrate in an open court:

The Court situate on the second floor in the southern end of the building known as the Magistracy, and now to be known as the "Third Court".

Proclamation dated the 19th day of October, 1937 is hereby revoked as from the 20th day of September, 1938.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony at Victoria, Hong Kong, this 20th day of September, 1938.
