LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS, No. 95.

Buoy temporarily marking lower extremity of Sand bank.

COMMANDERS and pilots are hereby notified that the N. E. or lower extremity of the Sand bank in the middle of the Anchorage, has been temporarily marked by a Red 6 foot Nun Buoy moored in 9 feet at Low Water springs. This mark may later be moved into 18 feet.

From the Buoy, the Southern Lower limit "L. L.” mark bears S. 18° W, 3 cables,

NOTICE TO MARINERS.

THE Master of the S.S. Fallodon Hall reports having struck an uncharted reef or shoal about 6 cables Southeast of Stork Reef, Lima Islands, Singapore Strait. Least water 18 feet.

1° 21′ 12′′ N. ...104° 19′ 16′′ E.

Vessels are cantioned to avoid this locality as per China Sea Directory, Vol. I, 1896, page 236.
