The rainfall for the month of July at Victoria Peak was 13ins. 57 on 20 days, at Mount Kellett, it was 8ins. 40 on 16 days, at Botanical Gardens, 11ins. 36 on 13 days, at Cheung Chau, 9ins. 78 on 15 days, at Sai Kung, 8ins. 43 on 21 days, at Taipo, 10ins. •88 on 22 days, at Ping Shan, 4ins. 90 on 13 days, at Fanling, 7ins. 45 on 20 days, and at Lok Ma Chau, 4ins. 70 on 19 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 569 at 16h. 00m. on the 4th.
The maximum gust velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 44 miles per hour at 14h 05m. on the 9th.
