ORDINANCE No. 38 of 1932. (PRISONS).
By virtue and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 17 of the Prisons Ordinance, 1932, the Governor in Council further amends the Prison Rules set out on pages 181 to 246 of the Regulations of Hong Kong, 1844-1925, as follows:---
Amendment.
Rule 328 is amended by the substitution of the words 'one month' for the words "six months" in the second and last lines of paragraph (2) thereof.
Rule 329 is amended by the substitution of the words "one month" for the words "six months" in the third line of paragraph (2) and the last line of paragraph (5) thereof.

No. 499.-His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to direct under section 5 of the Buildings Ordinance, 1935, Ordinance No. 18 of 1935, that the name of Mr. ROBERT FAN (alias ROBERT FANG LENT) be added to the List of Authorized Architects published in Government Notification No. 286 of the 1st April, 1938.

No. 500.- His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under section 4 of the Education Ordinance, 1913, Ordinance No. 26 of 1913, LEONARD DUNCAN PRINGLE, M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.R.C.P. (Lond.), to be Inspector of Schools, with effect from 7th June, 1938.
