No. 312.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies to appoint Mr. ARTHUR JAMES PEAKER to be an Assistant Instructor in Building, Trade School, with effect from 13th April, 1938.

No. 313. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under the provisions of Statute 4 of the Second Schedule of the University Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, to nominate Mr. SYDNEY HAMPDEN ROSS as a Member of the Court of the University of Hong Kong during the absence from the Colony of Mr. JOHN HENNESSEY SETH, with effect from 16th April, 1938.

His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under the provisions of Statute 4 of the Second Schedule of the University Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, to nominate Dr. GEORGE DUNCAN RALPH BLACK, O.B.E., V.D., as a member of the Court of the University of Hong Kong for a further period of three years, with effect from 26th April, 1938.
