No. 223.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under Regulation No. 1 made by the Governor in Council under section 4 of the Nurses Registration Ordinance, 1931, Ordinance No. 1 of 1931, to appoint Professor WILLIAM INNES GERRARD, O.B.E., M.D., to be a Member of the Nurses Board for a further term of three years, with effect from 13th March, 1938.

No. 224. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, the Honourable Mr. JOHN JOHNSTONE PATERSON to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council for a further period of four years, with effect from the 15th March, 1938.

No. 226.-His Ex ellency the Governor has been pleased, under sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Births and Deaths Registration Ordinance, 1934, Ordinance No. 21 of 1934, to appoint Dr. JAMES THORNTON SMALLEY to be a Deputy Registrar of Births and Deaths, with effect from the 19th March, 1938.
