The rainfall for the month of January at Victoria Peak was (in. 49 on 12 days, at Mount Kellett, it was in. 27 on 3 days, at Botanical Gardens, Oin. 17 on 3 days, at Cheung Chau, Oin. 00, at Sai Kung, Oin. 36 on 4 days, at Taipo, Oin. 64 on 6 days, at Ping Shan, ()in. '16 on 1 day, at Fanling, Oin. 37 on 4 days, and at Lok Ma Chau, Oin. 17 on 3 days.

The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ine. 922 at 15h. 00m. on the 30th. The maximum gust velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 47 miles per hour at 09hs. (7m. on the 17th.
