No. 513.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint FREDERICK SOUTHEY to be Chief Draughtsman on the Kowloon-Canton Railway Construction Staff, with

effect from the 9th instant.

No. 514. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to recognise BELA SZENTIRMAY VON DARVASTO as I. and R. Consul for Austria-Hungary in this Colony, in succession to NIKOLAUS POST, transferred.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 515.-It is hereby notified that notice has been received from the Imperial Russian Consul that any vessels sailing from ports declared by the Russian Authorities to be infected with plague must before proceeding to Russian ports in the East call at the recently opened Quarantine Observation Station at Vladivostock.

No. 516-It is hereby notified that the BRADFORD DYERS' ASSOCIATION, LIMITED, Registered Office, 39, Well Street, Bradford, Yorkshire, England, Dyers, have complied with the requirements of Ordinance 6 of 1898, for the registration in this Colony of their Mark No. 153 of 1906, as applied to Cotton piece goods of all kinds, in Class 24; and that the same has been duly registered.
