No. 454.-His Excellency the Governor, under instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, has been pleased to appoint RICHARD FYSHER BRAYN to be Assistant Auditor, with effect from the 23rd instant.

No. 455. His Majesty the KING has been pleased to approve of the appointment of the Honourable Mr. EDWARD OSBORNE to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council of Hongkong during the absence on leave of the Honourable Mr. GERSHOM STEWART.

With reference to Government Notification No. 325 of the 28th May, 1902, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, WILLIAM Jardine Gresson, Esquire, to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council in succession to CHARLES WEDDERBURN DICKSON, Esquire, resigned.

With reference to Government Notification No. 325 of the 28th May, 1902, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, the Honourable Mr. EDBERT ANSGER HEWETT to be an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council in succession to CHARLES WEDDERBURN DICKSON, Esquire, resigned.
