It is hereby notified for general information that on and after 1st October next the British Post Office Agencies in China, with the exception of that at Wei Hai Wei, will withdraw from the Imperial Penny Post System, and adopt the union rate of postage on letters to the United Kingdom, British Possessions and Protectorates, and Egypt. The local rates to Hongkong, Macao, and British Post Office Agencies in China will be maintained.
