in relation to Petroleum in Bulk, made on the 15th day of March, 1906, under the provisions of

Section 6 of the Dangerous Goods Ordin-

ance, 1873, (Ordinance No. 1 of 1873),

and published in Government

Notification No. 215 of the

15th March, 1906.

Regulation No. 8 of the Regulations made on the 15th day of March, 1906, in relation to petroleum in bulk is amended by the omission of the words "between sunrise and sunset at the end of the first sentence thereof.

With reference to Government Notification No. 824 of the 15th December, 1905, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint under section 3 of the Squatters Ordinance, 1890, (Ordinance No. 5 of 1890), ARTHUR JOHN DARBY to be Secretary to the Squatters Board during the absence on leave of LEWIS CHARLES REES, or until further notice.

No. 374. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint EDBERT ANSGER HEWETT provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council in place of ROBERT GORDON SHEWAN, resigned.

No. 375 -- His Excellency the Governor under instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies has been pleased to appoint MALCOLM HUNTER LOGAN to be District Engineer on the Kowloon-Canton Railway Construction, British Section.

No. 376. His Excellency the Governor under instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies has been pleased to appoint ROBERT BAKER to be Personal Assistant to the Chief Resident Engineer in charge of the Kowloon-Canton Railway, British Section.

No. 377.-It is hereby notified that telegraphic information has been received from H.B.M.'s Consul-General at Bangkok to the effect that vessels from Hongkong and China Ports will, in consequence of bubonic plague, be required to complete 10 days before arrival at Bangkok.
