OTICE is hereby given that LEON PER NOTICE is hereby given that the ITALIAN

MEZEL trading at No. 7 Rue de l'Arbre Sec Lyon in the Republic of France as L. PERMEZEL ET COMPAGNIE has on the 15th day of September 1905 applied for the registration in Hongkong of the following Trade Marks :-

No. 1. The representation of a peacock with tail outspread with a Chinese girl seated on its back holding a flag in one hand on which is the Chinese character fuk" the translation of which is "happiness and in the other hand a lily. No. 2. The representation of a duck standing amongst reeds and the words L. Permezel & Cie. Lyon' underneath,

in the name of LEON PERMEZEL who claims to be the sole proprietor thereof,

The Trade Mark No. 1 has been used by the Applicant since 1891 in respect of the follow- ing goods:-

Silk piece goods, in Class 31. The Trade Mark No. 2 has been used by the Applicant since 1901 in respect of the following goods :-.

with outstretched wings,

in the name of the said ITALIAN FAR EAST TRADING COMPANY, who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.

The Trade Mark is intended to be used by the applicants forthwith in respect of the following goods, viz.:—

In articles of clothing such as Rubber Boots and Shoes, &e, in Class 38, and also in Goods manufactured from indiarubber and guttapercha (not in- cluded in other Classes), in Class 40.
