NOTICE is hereby given that A. LOPATO SONS, LIMITED, (a Company registered under the laws of Hongkong), of No. 22, Museum Road, Shanghai, China, Tobacco Manufacturers, have on the 23rd day of August, 1915, applied for the Registration in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark :--- This Trade Mark consists of two panels.
In the one on the left-hand side is depicted # native of Formosa in peculiar dress and headgear. Im- mediately above in a small panel is the word "Formosa in Russian characters. In the right-hand panel beneath four medals or coins appears the Company's name:- A. Lopato Sons, Ltd., Harbin."
in the name of A. LOPATO Soxs, LTD., of 18 Bank Buildings, Hongkong and 22, Museum Road, Shanghai, China, Tobacco Manufacturers, who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.
The above mentioned Trade Mark is intended to be used by the applicants forthwith in respect of the following goods:-
Manufactured Tobacco, in Class 45.

The Applicants disclaim the right to the exclusive use of the word "Formosa in Russian characters appearing in the above mentioned Trade Mark,
