occulting Aga Light was installed at Signal Hill on 1st November. second of light and 25 seconds of darkness, that is, 20 flashes of light visible with a clear atmosphere for 10 miles. A white sector is shown
and S. 89° W. All other bearings show red.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following light shall be temporarily exhibited on the Laboratory Tower in the premises of the Lighthouse Bureau, Yokohama, on the 10th, 14th and 16th of November, 1915 :---
The Laboratory Lighthouse.
Position:-Latitude 35° 27' 5" N., Longitude 139° 38' 2" E. (According to
the Japanese Admiralty Chart No. 67).
Description ---Unpainted, octagonal, brick and stone tower.
Height of light:-51 shaku above the base; 58 shaku above the level of high
water spring tides.
Character of light :--Second order revolving white showing one flash every 30
seconds.
Muminated Are: -Full horizon.
Power: 70,000 candles.
Visible distance :--13 nautical miles in clear night.
