MEDICAL DEPARTMENT.

No. 270.-Tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Saturday, the 7th day of April, for the repair of the Government Steam-launch Sybil. Specifications can be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office.

Repairs to be executed to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor. Contractor to supply a suitable launch for the use of the Health Officers of the Port during the repairs and to be responsible for the safety of the launch Sybil, in case of fire or hurricane.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. 271.-Tenders will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Thursday, the 5th April, 1996, for pulling down old buildings, levelling site, and forming roadways with all necessary sewers, and surface water drains in the vicinity of Mee Lun Lane, Victoria.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For Form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at the Public Works Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender,

HARBOUR NOTIFICATION.

NOTICE TO MARINERS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Oater Light Beacon at the Bar has been carried away and that the Buoy Boat, showing a white and red light in a vertical line three feet apart, which is now marking the position of the Inner Light Beacon, which is undergoing repairs, will be shifted and, till further notice, will occupy the position of the Outer Light Beacon.
