Light White in series of flashes, viz., 03 seconds light-12 seconds eclipse-0·3 seconds light-12 seconds eclipse--0'3 seconds light-57 seconds eclipse. Lights whole horizon.

Elevation.-13 feet above scalevel.

Visibility.—In clear weather 4:14 nautical miles.

For information of Mariners.

The reservoirs are filled with gas for 6 months, therefore the light remains without direct supervision and the lighting may be interrupted on account of some damage.

Lighted Road Beacon.

At a distance of about 4 miles from the sounding and lighted beacon in a true course 170° - 350° at a depth of 23 feet a Red and Black Beacon with green light has been put up. This beacon indicates the anchorage for vessels waiting for high tide.

Description.-Red and Black Beacon with open ironwork superstructure on top of which the lighting apparatus is placed.

Description of light. Green flashlight 03 seconds light, 27 seconds eclipse, lights the entire horizon.

Elevation of light.-10 feet above sealevel.

Visibility.-363 nautical miles.

N.B. The reservoirs are filled with gas for 100 days, therefore the light remains without constant supervision and interruptions of light are possible on account of damage to apparatus.

Lighted Beacons of Channel.

On the North extremity of the Bar from the West side of the channel at a depth of 15 feet a small red beacon with red light has been put up.

Description of light.---Red flashlight 03 seconds light, 27 seconds eclipse.

Visibility.——3'63 nautical miles.

At the North extremity of the Bar from the East side of the channel a small white beacon with white light has been put up at a depth of 15 feet.

Description of light. White flashlight 03 seconds light, 27 seconds eclipse.

Elevation-10 feet above sealevel.

Visibility.--3'63 nautical miles.

At the South extremity of the Bar from the West side of the channel a small red beacon with red light has been put up at a depth of 13 feet.

Description of light.-Red flashlight 03 seconds light, 27 seconds eclipse.

Elevation. 10 feet above sealevel.

Visibility. – 3×63 nautical miles.

At the South extremity of the Bar from the East side of the channel a white beacon with white light has been put up at a depth of 13 feet.

Description of light. White flashlight 03 seconds light, 27 seconds eclipse.

Elevation.-10 feet above sealevel.

Visibility. 363 nautical miles.

N.B. The above-mentioned Beacons are filled with gas for 130 days. There is no direct supervision therefore interruption of lighting may occur on account of damage.
