No. S. 166. It is hereby notified that the following Sales of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the Police Station, An Tan, at 12 Noon, on Thursday, the 26th day of August, 1915.

The Lots are sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent, No. 1 as a Cemetery Lot, and No. 2 as a Threshing Floor Lot, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906. No. 1 is further subject to the Special Conditions hereunder specified and No. 2 to the Special Condition No. 1 published in Government Notification No. 697 of 1909 and No. 5 published in Government Notification No. 278 of 1911.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS.

1. The Lot shall only be used as a cemetery and, should it at any time cease to be so used, shall forthwith revert to the Crown. No compensation shall be payable to the Purchaser on such reversion.

2. The Lot shall be subject to any regulations that may hereafter be made by the Governor-in-Council regarding cemeteries.

Comus Rock Beacon Destroyed.

Aids to Navigation in Canton Harbour Temporarily Discontinued.

NOTICE is hereby given that Commuus Rock Beacon, Back Reach, Canton River, has been destroyed by floods. The rock is now temporarily marked by a boat which exhibits. a red flag by day and a red light by night.

Caution.-Mariners passing between High Island and Comus Rock should proceed at a slow speed whilst the mark-boat is in use.

Notice is also hereby given that the Aids to Navigation in Canton Harbour have been temporarily discontinued owing to the floods.
