No. S. 69. It is hereby notified that the following Letting by Public Auction. Sale of a Lot of Crown Sea Bed at Ping Chau Island, Lantao, will be held on Tuesday, the 27th day of April, 1915, at 2.30 p.m., at the District Land Office, Hongkong.

The lease will be for a term of 3 years and 8 months from the 1st of May, 1915. The lease confers on the lessee the sole rights of dredging for shell and coral within the leased area.

CONDITIONS OF THE LEASE.

The Lot is leased subject to the general conditions of sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906 so far as applicable as varied by and subject to the under- mentioned special conditions:-

1. Crown Rent will be paid half-yearly in advance on the 1st January and the 1st July at the District Land Office, Hongkong. The first payment of a proportionate part will be made within three days of the date of auction.

2. Immediately on the fall of the hammer the highest bidder shall sign a memo- randum of agreement for completing the lease according to these conditions. He will then be entitled to and shall execute on demand a Crown Lease (a form of which will be produced at the auction) of the area specified above for the term of 3 years and 8 months for which the Lot is leased, at an annual rental of the sum bid payable as stated in Con- dition 1.
