Custom House) no steam vessel or motor vessel either towing or proceeding without a tow shall attempt to leave her moorings until such time as a red diamond shape is hoisted at the top of the mast on the Customs Sigual Tower at Honam. When this is observed they are free to proceed, and to facilitate the seeing of this signal it will be repeated at the Police Stations of Hoi Chu, Macao Fort, Wongsha and below Cement Works.

(2) No inward bound steam vessel or motor vessel with or without tow is to proceed into the harbour under similar conditions. They must anchor until the fog clears sufficiently to see the signal signifying they may proceed.

(3) The following vessels are exempt from the foregoing rules:-

Government vessels of all nations.

Customs Launches.

Samshui Railway Ferry launches.
