Southern Approach to the Yangtze.
Wreck off S.W. Horn.
NOTICE is hereby given that the masts of a wreck are reported showing above water in position 34 miles north by west from S.W. Horn.
Referring to Special Notices to Mariners Nos. 431 and 432, concerning a junk wrecked off Gutzlaff but not located, it is surmised that the masts now reported belong to this wreck.
Steps will be taken for its removal as soon as possible.

Canton Harbour.
Sand Patch in Back Reach.
NOTICE is hereby given that a small sand patch, about 70 feet in diameter, has been located in the Back Reach in the vicinity of the Bird's Nest Rock. The patch, consisting of hard sand, has a depth of 13 feet at low water of spring tides, and from its centre the centre of Bird's Nest Rock bears N. 25° E., magnetic, distant 1.1 cables.
'There is a channel on either side carrying, approximately, the same water as shown on British Admiralty Chart No. 3620.
