Now, therefore, I, the said Sir MATTHEW NATHAN, under and by virtue of the powers conferred on me by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that, for the purpose of the said Act, the voyage of any Chinese Passenger Ship (Steamer) from Hongkong or any port of China to Ocean Island shall be deemed to be a voyage of not more than thirty days' duration.

EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.
Order made by the Governor in Council, under Sub-section 2 of Section 8 of the Raling Ordinance, 1901, (Ordinance No. 6 of 1901), this 15th day of March, 1906.
The Governor in Council hereby directs that the existing valuation of the Colony shall be adopted as the valuation for the year commencing 1st July, 1906.

Order made by the Governor in Council, under Section 4 of the New Territories Land Ordinance, 1905, (Ordinance
No. 3 of 1905), this 15th day of March, 1906.
The Order in Council dated the 31st day of July, 1905, defining the Districts into which the New Territories shall be divided for the purpose of the above mentioned Ordi- nance, is hereby rescinded and the following Order substituted :-
It is hereby ordered that there shall be established two District Land Offices for the purposes of carrying out the provisions of the New Territories Land Ordi- nance, 1905, and it is further ordered that for the purposes of the said Ordinance the New Territories shall be divided into two districts, viz.:-
(a.) One District to be hereafter called and known as the "Northern District" to include the whole of the New Territories situate on the mainland excepting such portion thereof as is by this Order included in the Southern District and including all Islands which are East of Longitude 114.10 and North of Latitude 22.15 excepting the Islands of Tunglung. Futan Chau and Slope Island.
(b.) Another District to be hereafter called and known as the "Southern District" to include that portion of the New Territories situate on the mainland as is delineated and shown on a plan marked "Southern District Mainland" signed by the Director of Public Works and countersigned by the Governor and deposited in the Land Office of this Colony, and the remainder of the Islands in the New Territories not included in the Northern District.
And it is further ordered that the Office for the Northern District shall be situate at Tai Po in the New Territories and the Office for the Southern District shall be situate in the City of Victoria, Hongkong.
