And Whereas the said period of three months will expire on the 3rd day of November 1915 Now therefore I Sir FRANCIS HENRY MAY Knight Commander of the Most Distin- guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same being of opinion that the necessity of His Majesty's forces in the Colony being subject to the said Act continues do hereby declare that by reason of the imminence of active service it is necessary for the public service that His Majesty's forces in this Colony be subject to the said Act for the further period of three months from and after the 3rd day of November 1915.

The Regulations made by the Governor-in-Council under section 3 of the Vehicles and Traffic Regulation Ordinance, 1912, (Ordinance No. 40 of 1912), published on pages 862-889 of the "Regulations of Hongkong, 1914," as amended by the Regulation made by the Governor-in-Council on the 1st April, 1915, published in the Gazette of the 1st April, 1915, as Notification No. 145, and further amended by the Regulation made by the Governor-in-Council on the 20th May, 1915, published in the Gazette of the 21st May, 1915, as Notification No. 220, and further amended by the Regulation made by the Governor-in-Council on the 23rd September, 1915, and published in the Gazette of the 24th September, 1915, as Notification No. 432, are hereby further amended as follows:-
