An Ordinance to provide for the payment of fees
in respect of Private Bills.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Private Bills Short title. Ordinance, 1915.
2. In this Ordinance :-
“Private Bill” means any bill by which individnal rights or interests of property may be peculiarly affected or the primary object of which is to promote the interests of individual persons or corporations rather than those of the com- munity at large.

3. The promoters of every private bill shall pay to the Fee to be Colonial Treasurer in respect of such bill for the use of the payable in general revenue of the Colony the fee of five hundred respect of dollars within seven days after the passing of such bill.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Seditious Pub- Short title. lications (Possession) Ordinance, 1915, and shall be read and construed as one with the Seditions Publications
