PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 405.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Lease of Old Post Office Building", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 28th day of December, 1914, for the letting of the Old Post Office Building from 1st January to 31st December, 1915, subject to conditions which can be ascertained at the Office of the Director of Public Works.
Each tender must be accompanied by a receipt to the effect that the tenderer has deposited in the Colonial Treasury a sum of One thousand Dollars ($1,000) as a pledge of the bonâ fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown if the tenderer refuses to carry out his tender and comply with the above mentioned conditions, should the tender be accepted.
Form of tender and further particulars can be obtained from the Office of the Director of Public Works.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender.
