To the owners and parties interested in the ship Tunnenfels and the goods laden therein. seized and taken as prize by our ship of war Chelmer HUGH TURNOUR ENGLAND Com- mander. We command you that within eight days after service of this writ inclusive of the day of such service you do cause appearances to be entered for you in the Registry of our said Court in a cause instituted on our behalf by our Crown Solicitor or other proper Officer of the Crown against the said ship and the goods for the condemnation thereof as good and lawful prize.

AND take Notice that in default of your so doing our said Court may proceed therein and judgment may be given in your absence.

OTICE is hereby given that Messrs. 8. C. ISMAIL & COMPANY, of Hongkong, have on the 30th September, 1914, applied for registration in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks of the following Trade Marks :-

1. The representation of a lighthouse with a steamer passing. The characters in Chinese of our firm's name, Hong- kong on the top, and characters in Chinese meaning "Lighthouse Mark" at the bottom all within borders of different colours.

2. The representation of a pair of peaches with stem and leaves, all enclosed in a dome. The whole set off with a flowered border. Our firm's name in Chinese at the bottom.

3. The representation of a "Summer House" on a lake with smaller houses
