No tender will be considered unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Treasury the sum of $25 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should his tender be accepted.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for providing and fixing Boundary Stones to lots ", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 19th day of October, 1914, for providing and fixing Boundary Stones to lots in the Colony of Hongkong and its Depen- dencies during the year 1915.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
