CANTON RIVER-BACK REACH-MAITLAND PASSAGE.
Establishment of Fenshuitau Beacon.
NOTICE is hereby given that a red Dolphin Beacon, surmounted by a red disc, to be known as Fenshuitau Beacon, has been established on the left bank of the river in Maitland Passage, abreast of the lower end of Changshan Island.
A red unclassed light will be exhibited from sunset to sunrise from the Beacon at a height of 26 feet above high water spring tides, and should be visible in clear weather for a distance of 2 miles.

HARBOUR NOTIFICATION.
No. 8 of 1914.
REFERRING to Harbour Notification No. 4 of 1914, Notice is hereby given that, the Superintendent of Customs and the Treaty Power Consuls having withdrawn the declaration. of plague-infection against Hongkong, the medical inspection and fumigation of vessels arriving from that port are discontinued.
The importation from the above port of the following articles, except as provided for in article 10 of the Sanitary Regulations for the port of Shanghai, is still prohibited :-
Rags, old paper, old gunny-bags, coffins containing corpses, and earth and mould.

Wreck of “Taian Maru" on Tungsha Banks.

NOTICE is hereby given that the wreck of the S.S. Taian Maru lies sunk on the south- eastern edge of the Tungsha Banks. From the wreck, the Tungsha Light-vessel bears W. 4 S., distant 7 miles.
All bearings given are magnetic.
