NOTICE is hereby given that the white Spar Buoy off the western end of Horseshoe Reef (Hufeisenriff, West) has been replaced by a Bell Buoy.

The Buoy, which is painted white, has the letters marked on it in black, and is surmounted by a double triangular cage, the upper one inverted.

Canton River (Back Reach): Brown Reach: Maitland Passage
Establishment of Dolphin Pile Beacon at Fen Shui Tau.
NOTICE is hereby given that on or about 31st July, 1914, a Red Dolphin Beacon, sur- mounted by a Red Disk, to be known as Fen Shui Tau () Beacon, will be established on the edge of the left bank of Maitland Passage, immediately abreast the lower end of Chang Shan Island (島沙内)
From the Beacon High Island Light bears S. 76° E. (Magnetic), distant 1 mile and 4
cables.
A Red unclassed light will be exhibited from sunset to sunrise from the pole at a height of 26 feet above H. W. O. S., and should be visible in clear weather for a distance of 2 miles.
Vessels proceeding up river should pass the Beacon on their own starboard hand at a distance of not less than 100 feet.
