No. S. 150.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Construction of a Police Station at Lok Ma Chau", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Thursday, the 4th day of June, 1914, for the construction of the Lok Ma Chau Police Station.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 151.-It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the Offices of the Public Works Department, on Tuesday, the 2nd day of June, 1914, at 3 p.m.

HARBOUR NOTIFICATION.

No. 5 of 1914.

RAISING OF THE S.S. “HOKUSEI MARU”.

NOTICE is hereby given that operations have commenced for the raising of the S.S. Hokusei Maru now lying sunk south of the No. 5 Buoy, Astraa Channel.

While these are in process steamers of whatever size when nearing and passing the sunken vessel are to go as slow as possible in order to avoid causing a surge which might damage the works and endanger life.

The salvage vessel Eiryo Maru is moored below and near the site of operations.
