CENTENNIAL MILL COMPANY, of Seattle, in the State of Washington, in the United States of America, Merchant Millers, have, on the 29th day of January 1914, applied for the registration in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of the following Trade Marks :-
1. The representation of the face and part of the body of a negro, dressed as a chef, holding in his left hand a plate containing a loaf of bread and in his right band a knife. Above the said representation appear the words (in blue) "Centennial Roller Mills ", а blue and white Star is depicted under the word Centennial and between the words Roller and Mills and below the said representation appear the words (in red) "Big Loaf " "and the name (in black) "Centennial Mill Co."
2. The device of a grey Circle lined out- side with red, with a yellow centre also lined with red, with а red Band bearing the word " Sterling (in white): placed diagonally across the Circle. In the upper part of the said device in the portion coloured grey appear the word Centennial " (in yellow) and in the lower part of the said device in the portion coloured grey appear the words "Roller Mills" (in yellow). In the upper part of the yellow centre of the said device appear the name "Centennial Mill Co." (in black). Below the said device appear the word "Sterling" (in red)
in the name of the Centennial Mill Company who claim to be the proprietors thereof.
The said Trade Marks have been used by the Applicants for the last fifteen years in respect of the following goods :-
FLOUR, in class 42.
