NOTICE is hereby given that, the Light of Nojima-zaki Submarine Signal Buoy, off Nojima-zaki lighthouse, Province of Awa, which was extinguished (See Notification No. 149 of Department of Communications, March, 1914) has been again exhibited.
HIRA-SE LIGHTED BUOY TO BE MOORED.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following Lighted Buoy will be Moored on the W. side of Hira-se reef, W. entrance to Shimonoseki Straight at the end of March, 1914 :-
HIRA-SE LIGHTED BUOY.
Description:-Iron frustum of cone, black, surmounted by a lattice-work sup-
porting a lantern.
Character of light :-Pintsch's gas occulting green, light three (3) seconds, eclipse
two (2) seconds.
Illuminated arc :- -The whole horizon.
Further notice will be given after the mooring has been completed.
GULF OF TOKYO.

NOTICE is hereby given that, the Undermentioned Changes will be made in Yokohama East Break-water Lighthouse on the end of E. break-water, Yokohama Harbour, Gulf of Tokyo, at the end of March, 1914 :--
Character of light-Fifth order Pintsch's gas occulting white, light three (3)
seconds, eclipse two (2) seconds.
Candle power :-
-500.
Visible distance:-12 nautical miles in clear night.
Further notice will be given after the changes have been made.

The port of Hongkong to be plague-infected.
All vessels arriving therefrom are to be governed by the Sanitary Regulations for the port of Shanghai.

CANTON DISTRICT.
Telephone Cable laid across the West Reach of Canton Harbour.
NOTICE is hereby given that a Telephone Cable has been laid across the West Reach of Canton Harbour, leaving the North shore of the river at the Western end of the Yueh-han Railway Company's Wongsha property and landing on the South shore at the West end of the Yuch han Railway Company's property at Shek Wei Tong. Boards with the words. "Cable Here" mark the positions at which the cable takes the land.
