Description Square iron tower, painted white.
Height of light: 18 shaku from the base; 51 shaku above the water.
Character of Light: Acetylene gas occulting white light, light three (3) seconds,
eclipse two (2) seconds.
Illuminated are: An arc 178°, from S. 11° 30′ W., through W. and N. to N. 9° 30′ E.
(Magnetic bearings taken from seaward.)
Candle power :-750.
Visible distance :-12 nautical miles in clear night.

REFERRING to Special Notice to Mariners No. 413, notice is hereby given that the North Tree Light has been shifted about 2 miles N. by W. (magnetic) from its former position.
From its new position Langshan Pagoda bears S. 46° E. (magnetic), distant 3.63 miles. The characteristics of the Light remain unchanged.
