Buoy Discontinued; Lighted Buoy Established.
NOTICE is hereby given that on or about the 28th February, 1914, the following alter- ation will be made in the buoyage of the northern side of the South Shoal (Swallow Bank), in the approach to Kiaochow Bay:-

A black Buoy, with the letters "S.F." marked on it in white letters and showing a group-occulting red light, thus--

will be established, to mark the northern side of the South Shoal (Swallow Bank). the Buoy, Taikungtau Lighthouse will bear S. 65° E., magnetic, distant 5′9 miles.
