in the County of Lancaster, England, have on the 3rd day of July, 1913, applied for the Registration in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks as associated marks of two Trade Marks of which the following is a description :-
Each of the Trade Marks consists of the representation of an astrologer or magician looking through a telescope with the words in English, "Gossages' Magical Soap", the whole being in- cluded in a rectangular figure. Out- side the figure are Chinese characters which in the case of one of the marks

the case of the other of the marks are

in the name of WILLIAM GOSSAGE & SONS, LIMITED of Widnes. aforesaid, who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.
The Trade Mark with the exception of the Chinese characters thereon have been used by the Applicants in respect of Common Soap, in Class 47 since October, 1892 and it is the intention of the Applicants to used them with the Chinese characters forthwith.
