APPROACHES TO THE WOOSUNG RIVER-QUARANTINE ANCHORAGE.
Quarantine Lower Buoy to be Moved and its Characteristics to be Changed.
NOTICE is hereby given that the shoal to the northward of the Quarantine Anchorage in the approaches to the Woosung River has moved down river, and that its southern edge now extends half a cable southward of the line between the Blockhouse Buoy 'and the Quarantine Lower Buoy.
On or about the 22nd instant the Quarantine Lower Buoy will be moved 6:8 cables S. 59° E., magnetic, from its present position, and its characteristics will be changed to a reď Buoy, gas-lighted, showing an occulting white light every 8 seconds, thus :--

It will then be moored in 35 feet of water at low water of spring tides on the southern edge of the shoal, and will, as at present, mark the lower limit of the Quarantine Anchorage and the northern side of the channel.

No. S. 382.-It is hereby notified, in accordance with Section 168 of the Publie Health and Buildings Ordinance, No. 1 of 1903, that the Government proposes to erect an underground trough closet latrine in Kat Cheung Street in the bank of Blake Gardens opposite Inland Lots 1454 and 1455.
If any owner or occupier of property in the immediate vicinity of such site objects to such erection, such objection must be sent in writing to the Colonial Secretary so as to reach his office not later than Monday, the 29th December, 1913.
Such objection must state the reasons and specify the property with regard to the ownership or occupation of which such objection is made and the interest therein of the objector.
