THE following is a précis of a Russian Government Notice to Mariners:
The new light on Cape Bruce, Peter the Great Bay, was exhibited on 1st October (O.S.).
It is situated in Lat: 42° 52′ 55" N. Long: 131° 28' 12" E. It is an occulting light visible 18 miles, and shows White between N, 36° E. and N. 54° E. and between S. 54° E. and S. 18° E., Red between N. 54° E. and S. 54° E, and Green between S. 18° E. and S. 46° W. and between N. 81° W. and N. 36° E.
