No. S. 310.-It is hereby notified that information has been received from the Mili. tary Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under :—

On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, the 6th, 7th, 9th & 10th October:-

From Belchers, in a North-Westerly direction, between the hours of 9 a.m.

and 1 p.m.

On Tuesday, the 7th, and on Thursday, the 9th October:-

From Stonecutters, in a Westerly direction, between the hours of 9, a.. and

1 p.m.

All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.

LAND OFFICE.

No. S. 311.-It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the District Office, Hongkong, at 2.30 p.m., on Thursday, the 16th day of October, 1913..

The Lot is sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent as a Building Lot, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906, to the Special Conditions published in Government Notifica- tion No. 278 of 1911 and to the Special Conditions hereunder specified.

The amount to be spent in rateable improvements under the General Condition No. 5 is $1,000.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS.

1. Boundary Stones will be placed by the Government Surveyor at a price not more than $5 a stone at the Purchaser's expense.

2. All banks and cuttings will be included in the Lot, the exact area of which will be determined before the issue of the Crown Lease. Premium and Crown Rent will be ad- justed in accordance with the rates at which the land was sold.
