No. S. 295.-It is hereby notified that Sealed Tenders which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Clothing for Railway Department" will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until noon of Friday 26th instant for the supply and making of clothing for the use of the Railway Department for 1913-1914.
Tenderers must produce a receipt that they have deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $25.00 as a pledge of the bonâ fides of their tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown if any tenderer fails or refuses to carry out his tender should such tender be accepted.
For further particulars and form of tender apply to the Manager, Railway Offices, Kowloon.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

NOTICES TO MARINERS.

PETER THE GREAT BAY.
THE following is a precis of a Notice to Mariners issued by the Russian Government. On August 18th (31) 1913, Larionoff Point Light was discontinued, and a White and Red Fixed and Flashing light was exhibited on the South extreme of Tokarevski Spit, in Latitude 43° 4' N. Longitude 131° 51' E. The new light shows White from N. 48° E. through South, to N. 53° W. Red from N. 53° W. through North, to N. 48° E.. It is Fixed, with one flash of one second duration every 5 seconds, and is exhibited from a White Otagonal tower 33 feet in height, at a height of 42 feet above mean sea level; visible 8.5 miles.
A fog bell has also been installed.
The Light on Skripleff Island has been strengthened, and is now of greater power than any other light on the Coast.
