Description :--Iron frustum of cone, red, surmounted by a lattice-work supporting a
lantern.
Height of light:-10 Shaku above the water.
Character:-Pintsch's gas Occulting white light; light 4 seconds, eclipse 2 seconds. Illuminated Arc:-The whole horizon.
Visibility :-4 nautical miles in clear night.
Depth of water :-. -About 8 fathoms at L.W.S.T.
Magnetic bearings taken from the buoy :-

NOTICE is hereby given that, the alteration work of the illuminating apparatus of Kozaki lighthouse, Tsushima Island, Nagasaki Prefecture, having been completed, the following permanent light has been shown on and after August 5th, 1913, and at the same time the temporary light (See Notification No. 549 of Department of Communications, July 1913) withdrawn :-
KOZAKI LIGHT.
Character of light-Fifth order flashing white light, showing one flash every 15
seconds.
Illuminated are :- -An arc 202° 26'; from N. 84° 45′ W., through N. and E., to S.
62° 19′ E. (Magnetic bearings taken from seaward.)
Candle power:-3,000.
Distance visible-20 nautical miles in clear night.
The position construction, painting, height of light, as ever.
