GENERAL POST OFFICE.
No. S. 246.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the repair of the Post Office Launch ", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Ncon of Friday, the 29th August, 1913.
Specifications can be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office. Repairs to be executed to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor. The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender. The contractor to supply a suitable launch during the repairs.

Removal of Sunken Lighter in the Eastern Approach to Taku Bar.
REFERRING to Special Notice to Mariners No. 386, notice is hereby given that the lighter which was sunk in the eastern approach to the Taku Bar, and from which Taku Light-vessel bore E. by N., magnetic, distant I mile, has been removed from the Fairway, and the red Buoy which marked the position of the wreck has been discontinued.
