Fixing of Monsoon Port.

INFORMATION has been received from the Port Officer, Alleppey, that the monsoon port has been fixed at Pathiankara, 21 miles south of Alleppey, and that the fixed red light has been exhibited there from the 15th June, 1913.

North Tree Beacon Moved.

NOTICE is hereby given that, on the 20th July, 1913, the North Tree Beacon was moved 1,275 feet S. 741° E., magnetic, from its former position, owing to the washing away of the river bank.

Chinwangtao Harbour-Dredging Operations in Progress.

NOTICE is hereby given that information has been received from the Commissioner of Customs at Tientsin that dredging operations are in progress in the harbour of Chinwangtao, and that vessels are instructed to pass the dredger at a slow speed.
