TRANSLATION.

Notification No. 462, No. 463, of Department of Communications.

GULF OF TOKYO.

NOTICE is hereby given that, following Lighted Buoy has been moored by the Imperial Naval Department, on the eastern end of the North-Eastern Break water, during the con- struction of the breakwater at Yokosuka Naval Station. And Kitanakane Buoy which had been moored to S.E. of Kitanakane reef shall be withdrawn in near future.

YOKOSUKA GUNKO BOHATEI HIGASHI-TOBU LIGHTED BUOY. Description-Iron frustum of cone, red, supporting a lantern by four props. Height of light-Ten (10) Shaku, above H. W. (Shaku 1=foot (9942). Character of light-Acetylene gas Fl., White, one (1) flash in every three (3) secs. Illuminated Arc:-The whole horizon.

Distance visible :— -Six (6) nautical miles in clear weather.

Depth of water --About six (6) fathoms, at L.W.S.T.

Magnetic bearings taken from the buoy :-

MEKARISETO (INLAND SEA).

NOTICE is hereby given that, Mekariseto Tidal Observation Lightbuoy on the North- ward of Ohama-saki, In-no-shima, Inland Sea, has been temporarily withdrawn during the repairs.

HOKKAIDO.

NOTICE is hereby given that. explosive fogsignal which prepared at Fukuyama Light- house, Fukuyama harbour, Province of Oshima, Hokkaido, has been discontinued to Start for good while.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 180.-It is hereby notified, in accordance with Section 168 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, No. 1 of 1903, that the Government proposes to erect an underground trough closet latrine in Pottinger Street between its junctions with Stanley Street and Queen's Road.

If any owner or occupier of property in the immediate vicinity of such site objects to such erection, such objection must be sent in writing to the Colonial Secretary so as to reach his office not later than Monday, the 14th July proximo.

Such objection must state the reasons and specify the property with regard to the ownership or occupation of which such objection is male and the interest therein of the objector.
