No. S. 128.--It is hereby notified that sealed tenders, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Repairs to No. 1 Fire Float", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 23rd instant.
Specifications can be obtained at the Government Marine Surveyor's Office. Repairs to be executed to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor. The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

NOTICES TO MARINERS.
Laying of Electric Cable across the Back Reach of Canton Harbour.
NOTICE is hereby given that on May 6th an electric cable will be laid across the Back Reach, to the Southward of the Standard Oil Co.'s Property, by the Kwang Tung Electric Supply Co. The boats occupied on the work will fly a red flag.
Masters of vessels are requested to proceed at dead slow speed while navigating in this vicinity during the progress of the work.
