THE TRADE MARKS ORDINANCE, 1909.

Application for Registration of Trade Marks.

NOTICE is hereby given that the MITSUI BUSSAN KAI HA LIMITED Of Prince's Build- ing Victoria in the Colony of Hongkong have on the 5th day of March, 1913, applied for the registration in Hongkong in the Register of Trade Marks of the following Trade Marks :-

THE PEASANT.

In the Matter of the BATU ANAM (JOHORE) RUBBER ESTATES, LIMITED.

AT an Extraordinary General Meeting of

the above-named Company duly con- vened and held at No. 13 Nanking Road. Shanghai, on the 26th day of February, 1913, the following Resolutions were duly passed and at a subsequent Extraordinary General Meeting of the said Company also duly con- vened and held at the same place on the 13th day or March, 1913, the said Resolutions were duly confirmed as Special Resolutions :-

1. That it is desirable to re-construct the Company and accordingly that the Company be wound up voluntarily and that Frederick John Howard be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up. 2. That the said Liquidator be and he is hereby authorised to consent to the registration of a new Company to be named The Batu Anam (Jobore) Rubber Estates, Limited, with Memorandum and Articles of As- sociation which have been already prepared with the privity and ap- proval of the Directors of this Com- pany,

3. That the draft Agreement submitted to this Meeting and expressed to be made between this Company and its Liquidator of the first part The Batu Anam (Johore) Rubber Estates. Limited, of the second part and Messrs. E. S. Kadoorie & Company of the third part be and the same is hereby approved. And that the said Liquidator be and he is hereby authorised pursuant to Section 185 of the Companies Ordinance 1911 of Hongkong to enter into an Agree- ment with such new Company (when incorporated) in the terms of the said draft and to carry the same into effect with such (if any) modifica- tions as he may think expedient."
