3. The Purchaser of the Lot shall within three years from the date of sale lay out and construct a Salt P'an thereon to the satisfaction in all respects of the Land Officer.
4. The Lot shall be used solely as a Salt Pan and the Crown Lease to be granted to the Purchaser shall contain a covenant by the Lessee to this effect and a Proviso that in the event of the Lessee, his executors, administrators or assigns failing at any time during the continuance of the lease to use the land for the purposes above mentioned, the land may be re-entered on and thereupon the same shall be forfeited to and vest in the Crown.
5. No buildings shall be erected upon the Lot until a Building Licence has been issued to the Purchaser. Any areas used for building under such Licence shall pay Crown Rent at the rate of $150 per annum per acre.
6. The Purchaser of the Lot shall have the right at his own cost and expense to cut and construct upon the Crown Land immediately adjoining his Lot, and at such points as may be approved by the Land Officer, such channels or drains as may be in the opinion of the Land Officer necessary for the diversion from the said Lot of any streams of fresh water whether perpetual or periodic.

Langshan Crossing.
INTENDED ALTERATIONS IN BUOYAGE.
NOTICE is hereby given that, on or about the 27th December, 1912, the following alter- ations will be made in the buoyage of the Langshan Crossing, owing to recent changes in the channel :-
The Waterman Bank Buoy will be moved and re-moored in 28 feet of water at low water of spring tides. From the new position of the Buoy, Fushan Pagoda will bear S. 25° W., distant 171 miles.
The Vine Point Buoy will be moved and re-moored in 28 feet of water at low water of spring tides. From the new position of the Buoy, Langshan Pagoda will bear N. 48° E., distant 8.4 miles.
The Waterman Bank Upper Buoy will be moved and re-moored in 31 feet of water at low water of spring tides. From the new position of the Buoy, Langshan Pagoda will bear N. 53° E, distant 8.09 miles.
The Upper Crossing Buoy will be moved and re-moored in 31 feet of water at low water of spring tides. From the new posttion of the Buoy, Langshan Pagoda will bear N. 58° E., distant 5 32 miles.
The characteristics of these Buoys will remain unchanged.
All bearings given are magnetic.
